PAPUADAILY –Indonesian Military Pamtas Task Force Soldier-PNG Infantry Battalion 611/Awang Long distributes rice aid to Papuans in Baidub Village, Ulilin District, Merauke Regency. This noble activity was carried out as a form of TNI’s concern in dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Commander of the Indonesian Pamtas Task Force-PNG Infantry Battalion 611/Awang Long Lieutenant Colonel Inf. Albert Frantesca., M.Han said that the rice distribution activity was a form of attention from the Battalion 611/Awang Long Task Force to his assisted residents.
“We distribute a little sustenance to residents and at the same time strengthen the relationship with our fostered residents,” said Dansatgas, Saturday (3/7/2021).
The rice distribution activity was carried out by personnel from Pos Bupul 12 of the Indonesian Pamtas Task Force-PNG Infantry Battalion 611/Awang Long led by Lt. Inf Nyoman and six members. Dansatgas added that with the assistance, hopefully it will help ease the difficulties faced by the residents.
“We continue to try to help residents in the RI-PNG border area, especially in the Merauke area, and hopefully this will be useful,” said Dansatgas Albert Frantesca.
