OPM Goes Crazy, TNI’s Powerful Scorpion Troops Arrive in Papua

In addition to the 711/Raksatama Infantry Battalion troops (Yonif 711/RKS), hundreds of Army soldiers who are members of the Republic of Indonesia-Papua New Guinea Border Security Task Force (Satgas Pamtas RI-PNG) Battalion 126/Kala Cakti have also arrived in Papua.

In a report quoted by VIVA Military from the Navy’s official Instagram account, 450 members of the RI-PNG Pamtas Task Force Battalion 126/Kala Cakti arrived in Papua, Monday, November 22, 2021.

Using the warship of the Military Cross-Sea Command (Kolinlamil) KRI Banjarmasin (592), the Indonesian Pamtas Task Force-PNG Infantry Battalion 126/Kala Cakti has been traveling since leaving for Papua on October 30, 2021.

Along with the Indonesian Pamtas Task Force-PNG Infantry Battalion 711/Raksatama, members of Infantry Battalion 126/Kala Cakti also received direction from Brigadier General Izak Pangemanan, as Commander of Military Resort Command 172/Praja Wira Yakthi (Danrem 172/PWY) as well as Commander of the Operations Executing Command ( Dankolakops).

In his direction, Dankolakops emphasized the same thing to all personnel of the Indonesian Pamtas Task Force-PNG Infantry Battalion 126/Kala Cakti, in order to take a humanist approach to the Papuan people. This is in accordance with the mandate of the Army Chief of Staff (Kasad), General TNI Dudung Abdurachman.
