Kemenkop UKM : Dukung Penuh PON XX, Bisa Gerakkan Ekonomi

PAPUADAILY –Minister of Cooperatives and SMEs Teten Masduki will provide various supports for the implementation of PON XX, because it can drive the economy of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Papua.

“Kemenkop UKM has provided various supports. Among them are through the Smesco Hub Timur program, consolidating initiatives related to logistics and the Smesco Center of Excellence for Eastern Indonesia which is run by Smesco Indonesia, while LPDB-KUMKM provides revolving funds (capital) for cooperatives,” he said. in a written statement, Thursday (2/9/2021). “There is also training and assistance that has reached 1,740 MSME actors in Papua and West Papua,” he added in the PON webinar for the MSME Movement and Papua Tourism.

Teten explained that according to PP No. 7 of 2021 Chapter VII Article 135, the development of integrated incubation requires the Regional Government to establish and develop at least 1 incubator at the provincial level and 1 at the City/Regency.

So it is planned that starting 2022 the implementation of the development of this integrated incubator can also begin to be held in Papua.

He said the program for Papua was in the form of informal to formal transformation with a target of 200 micro-enterprises, display and sale of superior SME products in Papua and West Papua Provinces at the SMESCO Provincial Pavilion, and the Smesco Noken Movement.

This includes campaigning and encouraging products from the provinces of Papua and West Papua to be sold in department stores.***

Menteri Koperasi dan UKM Teten Masduki akan memberikan berbagai dukungan untuk pelaksanaan PON XX, karena bisa menggerakkan ekonomi Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah (UMKM) di Tanah Papua.

“Kemenkop UKM telah memberikan berbagai dukungan. Di antaranya melalui program Smesco Hub Timur, mengkonsolidasi inisiatif terkait logistik serta Center of Excellence Smesco bagi kawasan Timur Indonesia yang dijalankan oleh Smesco Indonesia, sedangkan LPDB-KUMKM memberikan dana bergulir (permodalan) untuk koperasi,” ujarnya dalam keterangan tertulis, Kamis (2/9/2021). “Ada juga pelatihan serta pendampingan yang telah menjangkau 1.740 pelaku UMKM di Papua dan Papua Barat,” imbuhnya dalam acara webinar PON Gerakan UMKM dan Wisata Papua.

Teten menjelaskan sesuai PP No. 7 Tahun 2021 Bab VII Pasal 135, pengembangan inkubasi terpadu mengharuskan Pemerintah Daerah membentuk dan mengembangkan minimal 1 inkubator di level Provinsi dan 1 di Kota/Kabupaten.

Maka direncanakan mulai 2022 pelaksanaan pengembangan inkubator terpadu ini juga sudah bisa mulai diselenggarakan di Papua.

Ia mengatakan program untuk Papua berupa transformasi informal ke formal dengan target 200 usaha mikro, display dan penjualan Produk UKM unggulan Provinsi Papua dan Papua Barat di Paviliun Provinsi SMESCO, dan Smesco Noken Movement.

Termasuk mengkampanyekan dan mendorong produk Provinsi Papua dan Papua Barat bisa dijual di department store.***
