PAPUADAILY –Regional Military Command (Kodam) XVIII/Kasuari, held a COVID-19 vaccination for the community, at the Pasar Wosi Public Transportation Terminal, West Manokwari District, Manokwari Regency, West Papua.
Head of the Johannes Abraham Dimara Hospital Kodim 1703 Manokwari, Captain Ckm dr Ricky Yudatmoko, said that the implementation of this vaccination is targeted at one target of 500 people.
Yudatmoko said, his party used two types of vaccines, namely Sinovac and AztraZeneca. “For the use of Sinovac, priority is given to the public, who are just using the first dose,” said Yudatmoko, Saturday (3/7/2021).
Meanwhile, AztraZeneca for the second dose is aimed at military members. “We actually do it two days, namely Saturday and Sunday,” he said.
In addition to the Pasar Wosi Terminal, he continued, his party will carry out vaccinations at the Port and Manokwari Mall. “We have been assisted by the West Papua Regional Police, the West Papua Provincial Health Office KKP and Manokwari Regency,” he said.
Yudatmoko hopes that the public can be enthusiastic about participating in vaccinations at the Wosi Market Terminal.
Meanwhile, Herlan (40), a resident of Manokwari, welcomed the vaccination program which was held at the Pasar Wosi Terminal. “With the arrival of members who come directly to the community, we support and salute this activity. Good, because they are the ones who go directly, not the public looking for the office,” he explained.
With the increasing number of Covid-19, he continued, the Kodam was still directly vaccinating in the community. “Just to save people, they came down to us, it’s amazing,” he added
