Battalion 512 Embraces Papuan Community Leaders


PAPUADAILY –The Pamtas Task Force for the Mechanized Infantry Battalion 512/QY strives to continue to create a harmonious atmosphere on the Indonesia-Papua New Guinea border, precisely in Keerom Regency, Papua.

One of the efforts made by the troops under the control of Lieutenant Colonel Taufik Hidayat was to embrace local community leaders.

“It has become our routine. And we are grateful, the activity was welcomed by all village heads,” said the Dansatgas. Tuesday, 06 July 2021.

As a territorial apparatus, Taufik explained that his party is required to be able to unite, as well as realize security stability with all other parties, without exception the local community. “That is our duty and responsibility,” he explained.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Village in Keerom, namely Jonny May, stated that he warmly welcomed the meeting held by the Task Force. The reason is, with these activities, he can also exchange opinions for the sake of realizing the comfort of the community.

“We will continue to synergize with the Task Force. Having a Task Force here is like our family,” he concluded.
